And the winner is…
From 2000, the Pantone Colour Institute began announcing the Colour of the Year and says that the Colour of the Year gives a “snapshot of what we see taking place in our global culture that serves as an expression of a mood and an attitude.”
The world’s self-proclaimed leading authority on colour declared that this year’s colour- GREENERY- is all about rebirth, rejuvenation and refreshment.
For me, green is a colour symbol of life and fertility, growth, positivity and environmental awareness; a connection to nature.
In ever day life in the Caribbean, green literally flourishes in our environment. Exterior and interior walls, soft furnishings and of course, lush gardens and surroundings make GREENERY a warm, familiar choice!
