Sweet Appeal | Available for Purchase

Exquisite. Shiny. Bold. These words are but a few which describe this lovely creation using Onyx and Agate stones. No two stones are exactly alike.

Pair this piece with your favourite strapless dress for that special occasion; or, let it light up your work attire as it sits effortlessly around your neck with your jacket on. The black satin ties will not tarnish and make this necklace easy to put on and take off.

Leather Love Necklaces | Available for Purchase

The versatility of leather offers jewelry makers the opportunity to create an array of beautiful pieces which although are easy everyday wear, can be equally sassy and attention-getting for more formal occasions.

The first on teal leather is more contemporary in its look. This style carries three ceramic focal beads which resemble speckled chocolate eggs. The cord fastens with a wooden bead and loop, and can be worn at full length or shortened for a standout style.

The second is a three strand creation on gold leather. In the middle hangs a caramel-colored glass focal. On either side of this glass feature, are three wooden beads, one on each strand. A gold toned clasp finishes this gorgeous necklace!

Good morning, Readers and Visitors to the page!

First, thank you for stopping by and commenting, or taking a look at the articles and jewelry. The jewelry you see here, once made by me, will be stated as such.

I wanted to address how I handle payment and purchases.

Although I have had the opportunity to send my work as far as China, that was facilitated by special arrangement where the package was carried to the buyer as someone was traveling to that part of the world.

A purchase from Canada was facilitated via payment from Western Union so that is another option.

I am actively working on a full website which will have a PayPal facility to accommodate orders from around the world.

In the meantime, if there is a piece of jewelry you wish to purchase, you can indicate your intentions via comment here, via the Facebook page or email at tasha76d@gmail.com

Jewelry can be shipped once payment is received via Western Union or some such type of wire transfer – banking institutions included.

Thank you!!

Leather Cord Bracelets | Available for Sale

Following on from my last post on leather cord jewelry, I created these for sale. I attended an event this past Saturday, invitation from a fellow entrepreneur and genius artist. The Limegrove Wedding Fair was held on Saturday, March 18, 2017. I had a good Saturday outing, not in terms of sales but for the experience of it all.

My next post will feature the two leather necklaces I made recently.

These are attractively priced.

Working with Leather Cord

After beading, leather cord became the next medium I used to create jewelry. I found I moved away from it after my interest in beads grew. I forgot that in its own way, it allows for versatility and creativity. Without even thinking about it, I realised only yesterday that some of my recent pieces have incorporated necklaces and bracelets made from leather cord.

Leather cord comes in many different colours, sizes, flat lace, rounded, and it can be used to create beautiful jewelry for men, ladies and children.

First pieces created included adjustable and wrap bracelets.

Pieces made in 2017.

Of Agates and Gifts

Birthdays are special occasions. Time for celebrations with family and friends, and for giving gorgeous gifts!

Client requested a gift that was equally chic as it was unique. This combo featured gold luster leather cord for both the bracelet and necklace.

The timeless design of the bracelet and its versatility makes a sure bet for any day of the week. The three strand design gives robust support for the delicate coral-hued agate, with its large veins throughout. The brass toned clasp makes it easy to close. There are a number of gold components including two spiral gold spacers which are wire-wrapped on either side of the focal agate.

The statement necklace is equally striking. The coral-hued stone is up front and center and is securely wire-wrapped onto a single cord. On either side are strategic embellishments – Tibetan dzi agates, spiral spacers and caramel-coloured glass discs. To fasten the necklace, one end of the gold cord forms a loop which is placed over a glass bead. Continue reading
